How do the video consultations work?
You book online, complete a short medical questionnaire in advance, and join a secure video call with your consultant. The first consultation is 30 minutes; follow-ups are 15.
Will I be prescribed weight loss medication?
Only if a consultant decides it is safe and appropriate for you, after a proper discussion of your health and history. Some patients leave with a plan that contains no medicine at all.
What does it cost?
Video consultations are the same price for initial and follow-up appointments, with a three-month review once you are on a stable dose. Current fees are published on our fees and prices page. Medication is bought from the pharmacy at their price; we sell nothing.
Is diet and lifestyle support included?
A specialist dietitian, a clinical psychologist and an exercise therapist are available to book alongside your medical care, and every patient gets the AmaraHealth tracking app at no extra cost.
