The part of treatment that happens between appointments
A consultation lasts thirty minutes. The other thirty thousand are yours, and they are where the result is actually decided. AmaraHealth keeps a record of them — what you ate, what you weighed, how you slept, how much you moved — so the next appointment starts from evidence rather than from what either of us can remember.

Seven things, in one place
Not a novelty. These are the seven things your consultant and dietitian may ask about during your consultations, and the app is simply where the answers live.
Food diary, with barcode scanning
Scan the packet rather than searching a database. The faster logging is, the more likely it is to still be happening in month three.
Calories and macros
Protein especially. While appetite is suppressed, hitting protein is the difference between losing fat and losing muscle.
Weight trend
The line matters, not the day. A trend tells your consultant whether the rate of loss is safe; a single morning reading tells them nothing.
Activity
Steps and sessions, synced from your watch. Useful mostly as a check that resistance work is actually happening.
Sleep
Short sleep raises appetite hormones. When a week goes badly, sleep is often the first place we look.
Water and alcohol
Hydration reduces nausea. Alcohol makes it worse, is high in calories, and causes dehydration.
Mood
A one-tap daily check-in. Weight, sleep and mood move together, and a falling mood is often the first sign the plan needs adjusting.
Three screens you’ll use every day

Log a meal in seconds
Scan, confirm, done. Portion sizes are adjustable for the days when you only manage half of something.

Watch the trend, not the day
A smoothed line over weeks, which is the only version of this number worth reacting to.

Record or sync a workout
Walking, running, cycling, swimming, gym or a home session — synced from your watch, or added by hand when you forget it.
Nothing
The app comes with your programme at no extra charge — there’s no separate subscription.
Dietitian appointments and personal training sessions are booked and paid for separately when you want them. You’ll find those on our fees page.
See fees & pricesGetting set up
Syncs with Apple Watch and most fitness trackers, so steps, sessions and sleep arrive without being typed in. A phone on its own is enough if you’d rather not wear anything.
Yours. You choose what you share at each appointment, and stopping treatment doesn’t delete your history unless you ask us to.
The activity data pairs naturally with a session or two of personal training — an hour with our exercise therapist, £55, and no BMI threshold to meet. Small group classes are available by arrangement.
You get the app when you start with us
There’s nothing to buy and nothing to set up before your first appointment. Check where you stand first if you’d rather not book blind.
AmaraHealth is a tracking tool, not a medical device. It does not replace clinical review.
